Delida & Daniel 27/3/21

Delida came to me for her engagement cake the previous year so I was so honoured that she asked me to also create a cake for her wedding.

She asked for a soft and beautiful cake with cream, soft pink and dusty green tones. We decided on a double height single tier cake finished in whipped white chocolate ganache with a white drizzle. The fresh florals complimented her bouquet with soft pink & cream roses, white dahilas and pepperberry with eucalyptus foliage.

I delivered the cake very early to Delida’s Aunt who was then going to drive it out of town for the wedding, which was held in the Southern Highlands. The entire ceremony looks like it was absolutely gorgeous and a beautiful celebration of Delida & Daniels love and commitment to each other. I wish them all the best for their future together!

Bastian & Carlin 22/5/21

Bastian & Carlin are old friends of mine and I was absolutely honoured to be asked to make their wedding cake. It always feels extra special to be trusted with a loved ones milestone celebration.

They live in Newcastle and had their ceremony at a nearby park with a reception following at Fort Scratchley. Carlin made their invites, which had a lovely floral lining. We thought it would be a beautiful idea to incorporate some of the florals and colours in their cake. To serve the 70 guests we opted for a double height single tier cake with handprinted artwork and a super lush spray of fresh florals.

Bastian’s Aunt collected the cake from my studio in Leichhardt and drove it the four hours up to Newcastle. The cake arrived in perfect condition with no problems! I wish we could have attended the wedding and seen everything in person, but seeing how happy Bastian & Carlin are in the photos makes me so heart-warm. They are both absolutely gorgeous humans and I couldn’t be more happy for them.

Lumka & Cal 10/12/21

Lumka & Cal celebrated their wedding at Athol Hall in Mosman on the 10th of December 2021. It was a beautiful day, threatening to rain, but turned out just gorgeous.

They had a very relaxed and laid back style, which suited Athol hall perfectly. They decorated the room with beautiful native florals from Kobayashi Flowers. For the cake, they opted for a two tier semi-naked cake dressed with lots of flowers.

They sent me the most joyful collection of cake cutting photos, which honestly brings a huge smile to my cake decorator face! The cake was two tiers of zesty soft lemon cake with elderflower syrup and filled with creamy elderflower ganache.
