Sophia & Andrew celebrated at 12 Micron in Barangaroo right at the start of Spring. It was a beautiful warm day and the cake we designed was lush and abundant, featuring seasonal florals in pastel pink, soft ivory, white and peach pink with pops of bright red.

We sourced the flowers at The Flowerroom in Newtown who always have the freshest most beautiful blooms to choose from. We used roses, lisianthus and ranunculus.

The day was full of family and beautiful cultural celebration.

The cake had three tiers finished in vegan whipped white chocolate ganache for a super simple and elegant design. The chose red velvet raspberry and double chocolate for their flavours. Yum.

As the sun set, warm light moved through the stunning room at 12 Micron.

Mel & Larry 20th September 2025

Mel & Larry celebrated down in Wollongong at the City Beach Function Centre on a beautiful spring day. Their cake was custom designed with one tier an ode to her South African roots with painted proteas, one featuring her dress lace and another with a hand piped monogram from their invite suite.

Each tier of cake highlighted a different flavour that the couple loved. The top was a classic vanilla cake with a creamy biscoff ganache. The middle was classic vanilla cake with homemade salted caramel ganache and the base featured our super popular red velvet cake with raspberries & cream ganache. Mel had quite a few dietary restrictions that we were able to accommodate easily, switching out ingredients like coconut and sunflower oil for more fodmap friendly options.

We sourced seasonal roses & greenery from The Flowerroom and I was so pleased with how they perfectly complimented Mel’s bouquet.

Delivering a cake for an out of town wedding is always a bit more stressful, but Mel & Larry’s cake couldn’t have traveled smoother. The sharp edged fondant tiers and unique handmade design were all perfectly stable for both the travel and duration of the party. I’m so happy to see what a wonderful time they had!

Ebanny & Ed’s wedding was stylish, modern and effortless. The garden party vibe at Greyleigh in Kiama was perfect for the end of summer event and ended up being featured in Vogue Magazine. The photography from Lucie Blake is just dreamy.

They had two flavours, one for each tier. The top was Coconut cake with Salted caramel ganache, always a favourite. The base was a custom flavour made especially for the bride: Olive Oil cake with Vanilla ganache & blueberry preserves.

The cake was finished in a vegan Swiss Meringue buttercream and decorated with vintage Lambeth style piping. Blueberries & blackberries dotted the tiers for an extra pop.

The florals from Rosa Rosa were perfect and romantic. They welcomed you into the reception marquee with a soft delicious aroma, which hosted an entirely vegan dinner, that I’ve heard was equally amazing. Thank you for trusting us with your special cake Ebanny & Ed! Your wedding was a privilege to be a part of.x
